Documented outcomes from completed gear tests.
Every test follows the same format: defined conditions, observed outcomes, and a pass/fail determination based on whether the item performed as advertised under realistic use.
"Pass" means the gear did what it claimed to do without critical failure. "Fail" means it did not. Some items fall in between and get marked accordingly. These are summaries. Full context, footage, and discussion live on YouTube.
Vendor Claims: Each test includes the manufacturer's stated specifications as documented at time of purchase. This ensures transparency and provides a reference point for what the product is supposed to withstand according to the vendor.
Transparency: Some gear may be provided by manufacturers or vendors for evaluation. When this occurs, it is explicitly disclosed here, in Discord, and within the video featuring the product. Receipt of gear does not guarantee coverage, favorable results, or continued collaboration. All items are evaluated using the same standards regardless of source.
